Neil Ratliff IAML Outreach Grant

Find out about Neil Ratliff

The Neil Ratliff IAML Outreach Grant helps to cover the shipping expenses for theĀ MLA/IAML Donated Music Materials Program. While these expenses are usually covered by the individual donor or donating institution, U.S. libraries may apply for a Neil Ratliff Outreach Grant for reimbursement of expenses. Applicants need not be IAML members. Please send applications in .pdf to the MLA Administrative Officer:

Linda Blair, MLA Administrative Officer
E-mail: lblair@esm.rochester.edu

The MLA Administrative Officer, the director of the MLA/IAML Donated Music Materials Program, and one designated member of the MLA Board will consider applications.

The items offered must be music materials, as described in the guidelines for theĀ Donated Music Materials Program, and may be sent only to music libraries and institutions in "post-communist" and "developing" countries (see the guidelines for amplification).

In the application, describe the quantity and type of material; estimate the cost of mailing and any customs duty the recipient may incur. Indicate any other source of funding for the mailing involved and whether your institution, if you are affiliated with one, is unwilling to cover costs. The MLA Administrative Officer will reimburse costs after receiving official receipts for all mailing and customs charges for applications previously approved.

This grant is supported by the Neil Ratliff IAML Outreach Fund.
