Six Strategic Planning Implementation Teams (one Team for each Goal Area) worked during Fall 2012 to identify action steps based on the MLA Strategic Plan 2011. Their DRAFT reports (linked below) were sent to the MLA Board in December. The Board will refine these ideas further with additional input from the MLA membership over the next six months to define an operational plan for FY 2012-2013 and for long-term planning following that. Each DRAFT report is followed by a comment field — please review the reports and add your thoughts, ideas, concerns.

The reports of the Strategic Planning Implementation Teams should be treated as a draft for planning and additional discussion. There will be a Town Hall Meeting in Dallas at the MLA conference to discuss the Strategic Plan on Saturday, February 18, 2012, from 2:30-3:45 PM in the Gold Room. I hope to see as many of our members there as possible.
